ReelDispatch
Privacy Policy
ReelDispatch is a desktop application from Core Logic LLC (“we,” “us”) that helps you upload local video files to YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. This policy describes how information is handled when you use the app and related product pages.
Summary
- Video files and optional JSON metadata sidecars stay on your computer unless their content is uploaded to a platform
- OAuth tokens are stored in your operating system keychain / credential store
- Job history and settings are stored in a local SQLite database on your device
- We do not sell your personal data
- Platform uploads are sent directly to YouTube / TikTok / Meta APIs (or via our OAuth broker for TikTok/Meta login only)
- Licensing may contact Lemon Squeezy only when you activate or validate a Pro license key
Information stored on your device
ReelDispatch stores on your machine:
- Account metadata (platform, display name, avatar URL if provided by the platform)
- OAuth access and refresh tokens in the OS secure store
- Upload job queue, captions, schedule times, and status history in local SQLite
- Optional same-name JSON sidecars are read locally to fill video titles, captions, first comments, and schedules
- App settings (for example local API enablement, watched folder path, tray preferences)
- A local API bearer token in the OS secure store when you enable the localhost API
We do not operate a cloud database of your videos or captions. Clearing the app data or uninstalling removes local storage according to your OS.
OAuth and platform services
When you connect an account, ReelDispatch uses OAuth 2.0. You authorize the app to upload and manage content on your behalf within the scopes shown by Google, TikTok, or Meta.
- YouTube: authorization and token exchange with Google using our Desktop OAuth client. Tokens remain on your device.
- TikTok & Instagram: login may go through a minimal Cloudflare Worker OAuth broker operated by Core Logic LLC. The broker holds provider client secrets and helps complete the authorization code exchange. It is designed not to retain your long-lived platform tokens; those are returned to the desktop app for keychain storage.
After connection, upload traffic goes from your computer to the respective platform APIs. Those platforms process your content under their own privacy policies.
Licensing (Lemon Squeezy)
ReelDispatch offers a Free tier that does not require a purchase or license key. If you activate a Pro license, ReelDispatch may send your license key and a device instance identifier to Lemon Squeezy to activate or validate the license. Lemon Squeezy handles payment and license records under their policies. We do not receive your full payment card details in the desktop app. Free-tier use does not contact Lemon Squeezy.
Localhost API
The local HTTP API is a Pro feature. If you enable it, it binds to localhost only and requires a bearer token stored on your device. Requests and paths you send to that API stay on your machine unless you intentionally point external tools at it.
